Open lecture: "Translating data into actions - moving from Hong Kong HIV/AIDS situation to evidence-based preventive actions; what else do we need?"
Organised by the Special Preventive Programme, Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health, the captioned lecture will be held on 17 March 2010 (Wednesday) 5:00pm to 6:30pm at Lecture Theatre, 1/F Public Health Laboratory Centre. The speaker for the lecture is Dr. Tim BROWN, Senior Fellow, Population and Health Studies at the East-West Center, Honolulu, Hawaii.
The lecture aims to discuss the use of data and evidence in planning an effective preventive response against HIV/AIDS in Hong Kong.
Individuals experienced or interested in HIV epidemiology or HIV prevention programme planning, public health and infectious disease professionals and trainees are invited to join. Deadline for registration is 10 March 2010.
