AIDS Hotline and HIV Testing Service

Hotline Services

The AIDS Unit operates three telephone hotlines providing free and anonymous service to the public. No caller identity function is installed in any of these hotlines. Through them, targeted health information on HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted infections, drug use is disseminated.

AIDS Hotline (852) 2780 2211 in Cantonese, English, Putonghua, Tagalog, Bahasa Indonesia, Thai, Hindi, Nepali, Urdu and Vietnamese (HIV antibody test and counselling services are only available in Cantonese , English, and Putonghua)
AIDS Hotline (852) 2359 9112 (The hotline service was terminated on 7th November 2024)
Gay Men HIV Testing Hotline (852) 2117 1069 in English, Cantonese and Putonghua


Besides, individual counselling by experienced and trained nurse-counsellors is available through the AIDS Hotline (852) 2780 2211 & Gay Men HIV Testing Hotline (852) 21171069. Appointments for voluntary counselling and testing could also be easily arranged over the phone or on line.
