If you have a confirmed laboratory blood result of your HIV status at hand or you are a known HIV positive case, either you or your referring doctor may call us directly at (852) 2117 0896 for an appointment.
A confirmed laboratory blood result refers to the conventional test as opposed to the rapid test. It is done on blood taken from a vein and usually takes 1 week to obtain the result, while a rapid test by finger prick or oral fluid requires only 20 minutes. The rapid test is a screening test only. It is important to note that any positive rapid test result should be followed by a confirmatory test of venous blood conducted in a laboratory.
On the day of your appointment, bring along with you:
(a) a copy of the confirmatory laboratory blood result (for newly diagnosed HIV cases)
(b) the medical referral letter (for both newly diagnosed and known HIV cases)
