"Know AIDS No AIDS" Creative School Projects on HIV/AIDS Prevention
The Red Ribbon Centre collaborated with the Family Planning Association of Hong Kong (FPAHK) to roll out the "Know AIDS No AIDS" Creative School Projects on HIV/AIDS Prevention. With a total of eight secondary schools and two universities participated in the programme, each schools nominated a team of 6 to 8 students to be trained up as student ambassadors. A twelve hours training programme was provided to equip the student ambassadors with knowledge and skills regarding safer sex and HIV prevention in July and August. The student ambassadors took ownership to plan for the student-led projects for their own schools, inviting participation of fellow classmates to promote HIV/AIDS awareness.
